What families say about our Early Learning Center

My children were potty trained, learned to share, how to walk, and so many other amazing things while at the ELC. The staff and teachers were all so patient and caring. I will forever be indebted to this amazing place.

First, I would like to say choosing the Early Learning Center was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve enrolled my son and daughter at the ELC and words cannot express how thankful I am for each teacher and staff person at ELC.

Everyone there is loving, caring, respectful, and very patient with my kids. My children have been blessed with awesome teachers who understand their challenges and handle them with care. It’s great to know that my kids are in a safe and fun place while I can focus on work. Thank you again ELC for everything you do for my babies. They couldn’t be any happier.

P.S: LOVE LOVE LOVE their Procare app. It updates me on what my kids are doing throughout the day.

Everyone [at ELC] is loving, caring, respectful, and very patient with my kids. My children have been blessed with awesome teachers who understand their challenges and handle them with care.

I would recommend to everyone that the ELC is not just the normal childcare center, it is a place where they see the children as their own. A place where no child is treated differently because of skin color or economic status.

For me, having my daughter at the center has been amazing. Coming to work and knowing that my daughter is in great hands is fantastic. I love that the center reopened to provide the quality service once again to many families including my own.

Knowing that once you pass through the entrance, you see the teachers and admin team smiling, welcoming, and loving my daughter is the best! I would recommend to everyone that the ELC is not just the normal childcare center, it is a place where they see the children as their own. A place where no child is treated differently because of skin color or economic status.

As a mother, I love to see how the teacher interacts with all the children. The ELC is a fascinating environment of nurturing, safety, and education in every classroom.

The ELC is great!”

I don’t even know where to start in sharing my total appreciation for ELC…I’ve been part of the ELC family for more than 10 years, since Annabelle (now 11) started going at 3 months. After her came Alex (now 9), who started at 4 months, and finally Jonathan (now 5), who started at 5 months. All of my kids stayed at ELC until Kindergarten.

This last year and a half has been so hard for our kids. ELC closed in March 2020, right when the big kids’ school closed. For many months, all three kids were home with me while I struggled to work remotely. Things picked up a bit for us when the big kids’ school opened for in-person learning in spring 2021, but poor Jonathan was still just home with me.

He saw Annabelle and Alex go out for school 4 days a week, then he would spend the rest of his day on his iPad or watching TV while I worked from home. With work, I just didn’t have the capacity to engage with him other than basic needs. We missed the ELC teachers and community more than ever.

When ELC announced it was reopening in July this year, I signed up as soon as possible. Jonathan was counting down the days til he could go back. He was SO excited!

I was worried that he wouldn't do well back in day care, after almost a year and a half at home, but he was thrilled to be back. I wasn't able to do any Kindergarten readiness at home with everything else going on, but after two days back at ELC, Jonathan was writing his full name and drawing with detail.

Both of our big kids transitioned from ELC to Kindergarten and beyond with tons of readiness and confidence. They're well rounded and doing well in school 🙂 I feel myself tearing up at the thought of having no more kids moving through your center.

You have an amazing team, from infant to Pre-K. Choosing to have my kids attend ELC was literally the best decision I've made as a parent.

He loves telling me about his old and new friends every day, and is singing new songs, telling me new facts about animals, and recounting his outdoor activities (scooters! chalk! playground!). After a year of intense isolation, he is finally blooming again. And, super importantly, is getting used to a routine that looks more like Kindergarten than just staying home with me.
